About this tool

This password generator builds random strings in your browser using the Web Crypto API (crypto.getRandomValues). You choose length and character classes; optional filtering removes look-alike characters such as I/l/1 and O/0. Generated passwords are never sent to QSTools.

FAQ

Are passwords uploaded?
No. Generation and optional copy stay on your device.
Is the randomness secure?
We use crypto.getRandomValues with rejection sampling to avoid modulo bias. That is suitable for everyday account passwords; password managers remain a better long-term habit.
What does “exclude ambiguous” do?
It removes characters that are easy to confuse when you read or type a password (for example I, l, 1, O, and 0).
